Cleanify is designed to help you manage your own files on your own device. You agree to use it only for lawful purposes. Specifically, you agree not to:

  • Use Cleanify to delete or damage files belonging to others without authorization
  • Modify and redistribute Cleanify in a way that violates the GPL-3.0 license
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer any obfuscated or proprietary components (there are none — it's all open source)
  • Use Cleanify in a way that violates applicable laws or regulations in your jurisdiction

Cleanify is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

The GPL-3.0 license expressly states that the software is distributed without warranty. This means:

  • We do not guarantee the app is free of bugs or errors
  • We do not warrant that it will work on every device or Android version
  • We are not responsible for any data loss that may result from using the app

Always back up important files before using any file-management or cleaning tool, including Cleanify.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer of Cleanify shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

  • Use or inability to use the application
  • Loss of data, files, or contacts resulting from app operations
  • Errors, bugs, or crashes in the software
  • Device incompatibility or unexpected behavior on specific Android versions

📱 Third-Party Services

Cleanify optionally connects to the following external service:

  • GitHub API (api.github.com) — to check for the latest app release when you manually trigger an update check in Settings.

No other third-party services, SDKs, ad networks, or analytics providers are integrated in Cleanify.

🔄 Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time, particularly if new features require different terms. Changes will be announced in the changelog and reflected here with a new "Last updated" date.

Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
